Be Inspired & Become Inspiring

Women Empowering Women Project

When you look at pictures, you wonder what the story behind them might be.  Who, where, when, why and what were they doing. The above rural Nepali women have amazing stories to share. They have been the catalyst for developing the WeW Project.

The WeW Project is linked to Hands with Hands (HwH) a small non-government organisation in Nepal - microcredit rural village projects in Chitwan District. HwH have partnered with John Curtin Leadership Academic (JCLA) based in Perth Western Australia. The purpose of this partnership is to bring women in enterprise globally - closer together. More importantly, raise awareness of their 'shared experiences', to inspire and be inspired through the implementation of an emerging concept - Philanthropic Franchaising.

Author Viti Simmons (2013) understanding of the term 'Philanthropic Franchaising' evolved while writing her non-fiction resource, A tree needs water to bear fruit: Enterprising women creating reservoirs for poverty alleviation.
